The Terroir
 
Typology: Terre di Chieti IGT
Grape varieties: Pecorino 100%
Vineyards: 

The estate’s vineyards, on the hills of the Val di Sangro, tent grown.

Soil: Clayish and calcareous.
Vinification: Cold maceration, fermentation 50% in stainless steel and 50% in barriques.
Ageing: 

6 months 50% in stainless steel and 50% in barriques, “sur lie”, and 3 months in bottle.

Style: 

A smooth white, supple and balsamic.

 

Straw-yellow with gold nuances. Complex perfumes, with notes of white peach, lavender flowers, honey, vanilla and tropical fruit. Good structure, full, soft and persistent.
